My ASMR Playlist

I was introduced to ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) by my daughter first, and later by doing a search on Youtube for de-stressing techniques. At first, I didn’t know what to make of it. It seemed bizarre and foreign. But I did a little research and started listening to different artists, and in a short while I was hooked.

Certainly, ASMR is not for everyone. In fact, some ASMR is not for me. Some sounds are just too much. However, as I’ve explored the different aspects, I’ve found a few go-to artists and compiled my current, quite long, but displaying a variety of my favorite sounds and techniques, playlist.

I listen to ASMR when I’m stuck in traffic, doing homework or working, when I can’t sleep, and any time I am feeling added stress. For me, it instantly diminishes anxiety and focuses my attention on self-care and a sense of nurturing that I don’t naturally afford myself.

Stressful people tend to forget basic needs, and focus the majority of their attention outwards instead of inwards. ASMR is a reminder and recall back to the inward.

My Favorite Artists Include:

GentleWhisperings (absolute top of the list)

WhispersRed ASMR

MassageASMR

Reiki with Anna

There are others, but these are my go-tos.
