Anthropomorphism,
a study in what it means to be human

What it means
to be human

Throughout our existence, symbolic art has been a vital part of communication. Humans rely on sensorial cues and experiential visuals to teach them how to interact and relay important information to future generations. Cave and rock art, specifically, have brought to life the past and informed the present. There is a primal urge in the modern human to reach out, both physically and spiritually, and connect with ancestral presence in ancient art. These artistic works are reminiscent of that deep desire to put my hand on the hand of the past.
